We understand that being able to check holiday balances in the past is important for efficient workforce management.
Gig Grafter offers the option to view what an employee's estimated holiday balance was at any chosen date in the past.
To find out the estimated balance at a specific date in the past:
Click on arrow beside "Calculate All"
Select the date
Click "Calculate"
Please note: The balances shown will be as they were at the start of chosen date. For example if you want to know the final balance at the end of the calendar year (e.g. just before midnight on 31 Dec 2023) then choose 1 Jan 2024.
The system will display the balances as they were at the start of the selected date, including the information on Opening Balance, Accrued and Taken holidays for each employee.

Please Note: Your payroll system will be the ultimate source of data for worked hours and annual leave.
The data on our system should be used as a guide only as a close approximation to assist with operational decisions.
These features assume that employees work consistently each week over the reference period and the data from our Time and Attendance product is submitted to your payroll software without any changes.
However changes can occur outside of Gig Grafter and If that occurs discrepancies can arise between holiday balances calculated by your payroll software and those calculated by Gig Grafter.
These can be corrected in Gig Grafter by updating employee opening balances to match your payroll software balance.
