Here's some step by step instructions to help you copy a rota from a previous week

  1. Using the date picker move to the week you are planning your rota for - e.g. if that is next week then move to next week.

Please note, to copy a previous rota the rota you are working on must not include any shifts. If you already have shifts created please delete them. You can, however, have time off events scheduled.

  2. Click on "Copy Rota" and select "Choose Week".

3. Select the week you would like to copy from (it can be a past or future rota) e.g. if it is last weeks rota that you wish to copy forward simply select the previous week on your date picker.

4. Choose whether you want to "Copy Shifts Only" or "Copy Shifts and Placements".

If you select "Copy Shifts and Placements" this will simply duplicate the previous weeks rota assigning the same shifts to each person. This is the quickest way to create your next rota and is ideal if most of your staff will be working the same shifts as the rota to be copied.

If you "Copy Shifts Only" this will copy all shifts as open shifts and you will then need to manually assign them to the relevant employee which can be done simply by dragging and dropping the shifts.

Which ever method you choose you can still edit and re-assign shifts to different employees once you have the rota copied across.
