Our intuitive rota software adds automatic calculations for UK National Insurance Contributions (NIC) and Irish Pay Related Social Insurance (PRSI).

This will ensure your projected weekly rota costs reflect as accurately as possible your expected payroll cost.

How it works

The good news is you need to do nothing at all!

Based on current UK HMRC and Irish Revenue guidance our system will apply the appropriate social insurance costs on top of the gross costs for both hourly paid and salaried staff.

A Simple Example

(UK)
An employee earns £10 per hour.
The employee works 50 hours in a given week.

Gross Pay = £500
First £175 has 0 NIC applied
Remaining £325 has 13.8% NIC applied = £44.85

Total Pay = £546.09

(IRELAND)An employee earns £10 per hour.
The employee works 50 hours in a given week.

Gross Pay = £500
First €386 has 8.8% PRSI applied = €33.97
Remaining €114 has 11.05% NIC applied = €12.58

Total PRSI = €46.55
Total Pay = €546.55
