To find out how to mark sick leave days click HERE

You can mark sick day as payable or non-payable.

To help you make a decision, we've created a tool which provides relevant employee information.

Whenever a sick day is added to the rota, a "View Sick Leave" button will appear in Payroll.

Click on this button to see how many payable sick days the employee has already received during the current year.

Hover over the button to view the Sick Leave Summary.

Within the summary, you can:

  • Set a reference period

  • View the employee's work pattern during that period

  • Determine whether the sick day falls on one of the employee's usual working days

This information can help you decide whether the sick day should be marked as payable or non-payable.

Mark as Payable

To mark sick leave as payable, simply click on the toggle in Pay Hours.

Mark as Non-Payable

If sick leave is not payable, simply leave the toggle unchecked.

If you have previously mark it as payable, simply click on the green tick to change to not payable.

Export Sick Leave Data

Use the export options to download payable sick leave information that can be forwarded to your payroll function.

The Payable Sick Leave Details report provides a breakdown of individual records, while the Payable Sick Leave Totals report gives a summary of payable sick leave by employee.
