Additional Overtime Grabs Settings
Require Overtime Reason
If this option is turned ON, the user creating the overtime shift will need to select a reason from a drop down menu. They can also select "Other" and will have an option to type free form text into the field.
Overtime Reasons
You can create and manage overtime reasons in the "Overtime Reasons Settings" Tab.
These will be visible in the drop down menu (mentioned above) when you're marking overtime shifts.
To create, simply click on the "Add Reason" button and type in the reason.
To activate/deactivate, click on the toggle by the reason. Deactivated reasons will not appear in the drop down menu when marking overtime shifts.
To edit an existing reason, click on the pencil icon, make your edits and click "Save"
To delete, click on the bin icon.
Max Overtime per day
You can limit how many overtime shifts an employee can grab per day. Once the limit is reached, the system will not let the employee grab another overtime shift that day.
Unclaimed Overtime Shift Notification Period
You can set the number of hours in advance that employees will be notified that an overtime shift is available and hasn’t been claimed yet.
Example:
If the Unclaimed Overtime Shift Notification Period is set to 24 hours, it means:
If an overtime shift is scheduled for Friday at 6 PM and nobody has claimed it, a notification will be sent to available employees by Thursday at 6 PM to remind them that the shift is available.
